Oil and gas
Oil and gas is a significant addressable market for our technology, driven by the vast number of offshore assets and the sector’s focus on continually improving efficiency, reducing carbon emissions, and the recent drive for technology and data-driven solutions in offshore operations.
Through its long-endurance power system and uncrewed operations, HonuWorx will support safer, more efficient, and sustainable subsea operations within the oil and gas sector:
- Survey: seabed survey and mapping, pipeline route and as-laid surveys
- Construction Support: remove need for supporting ROV vessels, e.g. for pipeline touchdown monitoring

There is an increasing drive towards uncrewed and autonomous systems to protect high-value assets and reduce risk to service personnel:
- Critical national infrastructure: monitoring threats to seabed infrastructure such as cables and pipelines
- Mine countermeasures: detecting and classifying mines that pose threats to allies and civilian seafarers
